Workshop Details QuickBooks Pro is a flexible, financial record-keeping system. Participants will learn how to use QuickBooks Pro for their farm, ranch, and family. This workshop is ideal for people new to QuickBooks and those wanting to increase their knowledge of the program. This is a great place to learn if QuickBooks is a good fit for you - hands-on learning with take-home materials. Participants will receive a printed manual and will be given examples that will allow them to create a sample farm company file, add bank accounts and loans, enter checks and deposits, work with bills (accounts payable), and create and manage invoices. After completing the session, participants should be equipped to begin using QuickBooks in their farm and ranch bookkeeping. Agriculture enterprise budgeting may sound like a daunting task, but with free tools available from www.agmanager.info, it can be a worthwhile endeavor. It is especially important to budget in tough economic times. Excel spreadsheets useful for both crops and livestock businesses will be highlighted.
