Step 1: Click “Register” on the top, right-hand side of the Grants.gov Home Page (https://grants.gov).

Step 2: Click “Get Registered Now” in the lower, left-hand side of the next page.

Before submitting a proposal through Grants.gov Workspace, Michigan Tech researchers, investigators and staff will need an account with Grants.gov. Follow the steps below to register as an Organization Applicant in Grants.gov.

Step 3: On the next page, fill out all the required information and click “Continue”.

The registration process is now complete in Workspace and the Applicant Center page below should appear. Please contact an analyst in the Sponsored Programs Office (SPO) to initiate a Workspace application by calling 487-2226 or emailing rsch@mtu.edu.

Step 4: On the following page, be sure to choose “Add Organization Applicant Profile,” thenfill out the Michigan Tech DUNS number (065453268) and other information and click “Save”.
