The SouthEast Initiatives Regional Technology in Education Consortium(SEIR*TEC) promotes the use of technology to improve teaching and learning
by providing technical assistance and authentic professional developmentin the areas of curriculum and instruction, leadership for technology, policy,
planning and evaluation, with emphasis on beneting traditionally underservedpopulations, such as low income, urban, rural, racial, and language minority populations. It is one of
ten regional technology consortia funded by US Department of Education, and Ofce of EducationResearch and Improvement.
