User Guide for External ITM Site

This user guide is about the Ericsson Academy External training site for externals, e.g. suppliers, external stakeholders, investors, etc. who do not have access to Ericsson internal learning management system and need to complete one or several of Ericsson’s training courses.

If you are an employee or consultant with Ericsson provided login credentials (signum/email ID/password) you should NOT use this external training site. Please turn to Ericsson internal system (ITM) for access to training courses. https://ericoll.internal.ericsson.com/sites/MyLearning/default.aspx

1 Register: how to create an account

Start by going to the site through below URL:

https://ericsson.plateau.com/learning/user/portal.do?siteID=Ericsson%20Training%20Site&landingPage=login

On the site, under New User, click on “Click here to register” to create your user ID for the site. Your user ID must be a valid email address.

Follow the instructions on the next screen for creating your password.

After successfully creating your user ID, you are automatically signed in to the site for the first time. Note down your User ID/password for future.

You will find all the information arranged in tiles as shown below.

To find and take training courses, look for the “Find Learning” tile.

2 Enroll: how to browse and search for courses

Finding training courses is done by browsing the course catalog. The catalog can be accessed from the “Find Learning” tile.

In the tile, click “Browse all courses” to go to the catalog.

Browse courses using the available navigation options and click on the course title or card when you find the one you need.

When you click the title of the course, on the next screen, click “Assign to me” or “Start course” to start taking the course.

If the training has multiple language versions, choose the language version you prefer from the available list.

The training opens in a new window (content window).

Proceed with the web-based training and complete it. When you complete the training, close the content window.

On the training site, click “Back” or “Home” to go back to the home page.

3 Completion: how to view course completion

After completing the course, you can check if the course is recorded complete in the “History” tile.

Click “View All” to open the tile and your recently completed trainings will be show here.

Completion certificates are available from the “Action” column.

You can download/print the certificate by clicking on highlighted action:

4 User ID and password reset

Did you forget your User ID or Password? Follow the “Forgot User ID” or Forgot your password” links from the site login page.

System checks indicate what minimum system requirements are needed for the Ericsson external training site to work well.

On the login home page, click on Check System given on top right corner.

Result window should be:
