Bus times
You must be at the School at five past Midnight on Wednesday the 8th of April (don’t go to sleep
on Tuesday!
You will arrive back from the 5:00 am on the Monday 13th of April
Day OneDay One
Fly from the UK to Marrakech.
Evening visit to the famous Place D’Jamma El Fna square.
Walking guided tour of Imperial Marrakech.
Places to visit:• Kortoubia Mosque• Qoubba Almoravide• Saadiens Tombs• El Badii Palace• Souk (market)
Depart Marrakech for Ouarzazate with a stop at World Heritage Site, Ait Benhaddou.
Day TwoDay Two
After breakfast drive into the town centre to visit the impressive Grand Kasbah.
Then, depart Ouarzazate to Zagora (Sahara Desert) via
the Valley du Draa.
Day ThreeDay Three
After breakfast explore the town of Zagora. Then early afternoon take a
camel trek into the Sahara Desert heading for the Ben Elala Dunes and
the bivouac site at Nekla.
Day FourDay Four
After settling into your tents the desert ceremony begins which includes preparation of tea and your Tagine dinner.
Watch the sun go down and spend a night under the stars in your Nomadic Tent.
Watch the sunrise on the horizon before having breakfast.
Depart Zagora to return to Ouarzazate
via the Valley du Draa.
Stop en route at the market town of Agdz that is famous for its weekly market and
continue on to Ouarzazate.
Day FiveDay Five
After breakfast depart Ouarzazate to return to Marrakech, once again crossing the High Atlas Mountains.
Free time in Marrakech before transferring to the airport for your
flight back to the UK.
Day SixDay Six
Accommodation
Hotel Amine or similar (Marrakech) – for 1 night
Hotel Les Jardins or similar(Ouarzazate) – for 1 night
Hotel Perle du Draa or similar (Zagora) – for 1 night
Sahara Desert – Berber Tents – for 1 night
Hotel Les Jardins or similar (Ouarzazate) – for 1 night
