FEBRUARY 6- NATIONAL SCHOOL
COUNSELORS DAY: We celebrate our school counselor, Mrs. Kayla Rick, who does so
much at our school each day. Her job is never ending. Not only
does she meet with children and assist them with making better
plans for behavior and learning, but she teaches lessons each day to our classes on
a variety of social, emotional and behavior issues. She is our right arm at our
school and we are so lucky to have Mrs. Rick working with our children each day. If
you are looking for her, you will rarely find her sitting down at her desk, because
she seems to be on the move everywhere in the building. She has a challenging
job. She also helps direct our PBIS (Positive Behavioral Intervention System) plan
and our SOAR goals. THANKS MRS. RICK.
TO THE ICE AGE TRAIL… 4TH GRADE FIELD TRIP: In the past few weeks
our 4th graders have had the privilege of going to the Ice Age trail up near New Auburn, WI. There they learn
about a number of outdoor games and technology of prior eras. Here are some pictures from Mrs. Davis Class
when they visited. SAWING, SNOW SHOEING, THROWING A HATCHET AND MUCH MORE.
