Quick Guide of Using IFTTT to Control Smart Devices 1 Sign in IFTTT app

1.1 Search IFTTT in App Store or Google Play to install the app.

1.2 Type in your IFTTT account and password, then tap "Sign in". IFTTT account could be replaced by Facebook’s account or Google’s account.

1.3 When you sign in IFTTT app successfully, the display in the app is shown as below.

2 Link Smart Life account to IFTTT

2.1 Select “Get more”, tap " Search" below the screen, then enter "Smart Life" in the search box, select the "Smart Life" option, and tap "Connect" to enable Smart Life.

2.2 You will be redirected to the account link page. Type in your Smart Life account and password, don't forget to select the country/region where your account belongs to. Then tap "Link Now" to link your Smart Life account, tap “Authorize”.

3 Create Applet to control your smart devices

IFTTT is the abbreviation of "If this then that". "Applet" represents a complete task composed of conditions & tasks. "this" represents the condition, while "that" represents the task. (Example: If garage door is opened, the system will send an email to your mailbox automatically)

3.1 Select “Get more”, tap " ╋ " on the right of screen to establish a new Applet.

3.2 Tap "this" to add a condition in the new page, and then enter "Smart Life" in the search box, select the "Smart Life" option.

3.3 Select "Device or group is turned on" & "Garage door". 3.4 Tap "that" to add a condition, select “Email”, and tap “Send me an email”.

Quick Guide of Using Siri to Control Smart Devices 1. Log in the “Smart life” app, select “Smart” at the bottom.

2. Tap “╋“ , select “launch Tap To Run”, select “Run the device”

3. Select “Garage door”, tap “switch”, then select “ON”, click “Save”, and click

“Save” again.

4. Back to the “Smart” page, tap the “Add to Siri” icon at the right bottm. Select

the tab “Garage door” switch: ON.

5. Select Add to Siri. Now you can say the magic word “Open the garage door”.

Quick guide to link Smart Life account to Alexa 1. Launch Amazon Alexa app. Tap Skills & Games in the hamburger

menu, then search Smart Life.

2. Select Smart Life and tap ENABLE TO USE.

3. You will be redirected to the account link page. Type in your Smart

Life account and password. Then tap Link Now to link your Smart

Life account.

4. Select DISCOVER DEVICE. Now the SMART LIFE is link to Alexa. You

can set the 4-digit Alexa voice code in Setting.

Quick guide to link Smart Life account to Google Home Before link Smart Life to Google Home:

Ø Launch Smart Life app, tap “Garage door”

Ø Tap the ring bell on the top right corner.

Ø Tap “Set password”, enter a password then tap “Confirm”.

1. Launch Google Home app.

2. Add your Google Assistant to your Google Home app by selecting the

MENU button in the top left corner, and then select Devices.

3. Select Home Control to add Smart Life to your Google Assistant.

4. Select the + icon in the bottom right corner to add Smart Life to your

Google Assistant. This will allow you to control all of your Smart Life

devices through your Google Assistant.

5. Select Smart Life. Enter your account details.

6. Select Authorize to give Google permission to access Smart Life.

7. Your Smart Life Garage door devices are now connected to Google.

Voice commands:

Ø “Hey Google, open {Garage Door}”.

Ø “OK Google, close {Garage Door }”.

Ø “OK Google, is {Garage Door } open or close?”
