NOTE: If the Adviser is not registered with CommSec Adviser Services, they will need to complete the New Adviser form and eSubmit this together with certified copy of ID and their Authorised Representative letter from the Ord Minnett Compliance team

Step 1:Ensure you go to www.commsecadviserservices.com.au/ordminnettto obtain the latest version of the application form(Including Smart PDF version), terms and conditions,and general information statement. Complete all mandatoryfields of the application and sign declarations along with clients.

Step 2:New clients must be provided the following documents with the ACA application:

Application tips

• Existing clients of the Commonwealth Bank who establishedan account post 2008, may not be required to provideadditional identification documents

• Identification documents are not required as long as the client(s) name, address, DOB, email, and contact details on the application match their existing CBA profile

• If your client(s) meet the above criteria, please leavethe identification section blank

Once your application is complete use eSubmit document uploader viathe CAS website to upload the application along with any required supporting documentation (i.e. Client identification).

Login and select E-Submit from the ‘Administration’ tab

• Select New Form• Enter Form ID 3050 or 3051 - ACAO-ORD: Accelerator Cash Account

Application Form (Ord Minnett)• Enter Reference (i.e. name of the application)• Upload the application via ‘Drag & Drop’ or by browsing the folder where

application is scanned and saved.• Enter the following note to give the Adviser Assistant view access

before submitting:“ Please give (Name of Adviser Assistant and username) view access to this ACA”

• Real time confirmation once the ACA application is submitted successfully

If all areas of the application are complete accurately, we will endeavourto open the account within 48 hours.

NOTE: There may be periods where an influx of application forms are received, and the time frame may be longer. If an account needs to be urgently opened, contact your Relationship Manager

For all follow ups, rework or missing information, you will be notified by Relationship Manager via email.

Once the ACA has been established, the adviser will receive an email confirmation. As soon as you are able to view the account details on the Adviser Portal, email the BSB & account number to Ords New Accountsto link this to the client’s equities account.

• Client will receive a Welcome letter (emailed or mailed)with the ACA account details

• New NetBank Customers: They will receive an email with the Client• Number and an SMS with a temporary password

Password expires within 28 days of receipt• Existing NetBank Customers: The new ACA account will be automatically linked

to the customers existing NetBank Log in• Should clients have any issues with NetBank, including resetting passwords,

they should contact NetBank on 132221 or visit a CBA branch with valid photo ID (Refer to Accelerator CashAccount NetBank Tips)

Mandatory sections commonly missed1. Tax Residency Information – Each country has different rules which govern tax residency. For individuals, these rules are often based on whether

their home is there, the time they spend there, or if they work there. If the client is unsure about their tax residency, they should seek professional advice. Clients can be a tax resident of more than one country. Clients should list all their countries of tax residency and their TIN for that countryor if no TIN is available, select a reason code.

Application types not accepted

As a Business rule CommSec Adviser Servicesdo not accept the following ACA applications

• Foreign Residents without an Australian residential address

• Trusts with Trust Deeds established outside of Australia

• Foreign Companies

• Non-standard client types such as Partnerships, Incorporatedor Unincorporated Associations or Cooperatives

Why?

• Heightened risk due to the complexity of the respective structures

Contact your Relationship Manager for a Term Deposit quote. Any quote we provide will be indicative and valid up to 3pm that day only.

To invest in a new TD, there must be available funds in the client’s ACA. To rollover an existing CommSec Adviser Services TD, Advisers who have transact authority on the ACA can email the Relationship Manager with the rollover instructions up to 6 days out from the date of maturity.

Once the client accepts the TD quote and has sufficient funds in the ACA,only the Adviser that has the “Authority to Operate” on the ACA can emailthe Relationship Manager the following details ( Dealer Assistants can sendthe email as long as the Adviser with “Authority to Operate” is CC’d).

To transfer funds online click “Select Action” then select“Funds Transfer” from the drop down menu box

Alternatively you can navigate to the Funds Transfer screenby clicking “Administration” located in the top menu bar and selecting“Funds Transfers”

Transfer to Nominated and Non-nominated Accounts

• When making an online Funds Transfer you have the optionto transfer to either a nominated or non-nominated account

• Nominated accounts are perfect for any accounts you will be transferring client funds to on a regular basis while non-nominated accounts are great for one-off or irregular transfers

• The benefit of nominating an account is all the account details are saved in the system, eliminating the need to enter in BSB and account details each time

• Nominated accounts are also pre-approved, removing the needto authorise each transfer, allowing for a more seamless, faster transfer. Add up to 10 nominated accounts per client

How to Add a Nominated Account

• To add a nominated account, your client must complete, signand return a Direct Credit Nomination form

• You can create:

• One-off Funds Transfer to a New or Nominated account within Australia

• A reoccurring scheduled payment • A one-off BPAY payment

• Any funds transfer to a new, non-nominated account will require an SMS code to be entered in.

• All BPAY payments require an SMS code

• All transfer types will initiate a confirmation emailto the Primary adviser and client(s) email address.

• You can schedule payments for clients weekly, fortnightly, monthly, and quarterly.

To assist in managing your clients finances, the transaction category functionality allows you to set a category for each transaction on the ACA

• Select “Clients” > “Financial Transactions”.

• Search and select the required client to view Transactions

• Select the green ‘plus’ symbol next to the transactionand select a pre-defined category or select ‘other’to create a specific category

• Easily search for transactions by keyword, transaction type, amount, date range and category filters

• Note that clients will not see the categoriesthat the Adviser has created

Manual transactionsAdvisers that have ‘Authority to Operate’ can conduct online transactionson behalf of their clients within these limits:

• $30,000 daily per ACA

• $200,000 daily per adviser

For amounts above these limits: Adviser (with the authority to operate)to complete and sign the fund transfer form before emailing this to your Relationship Manager.

The cut off for manual transfers is 3:00 pm daily. For transfers over a million dollarsand international transactions, we have to verbally confirm the transaction with the client over the phone.

For all international transfers,

a. We will require additional information (currency, swift code, destination bank, etc).

b. The client must sign the request with the additional information.

c. RM will confirm the transaction with the client over a recorded phone line.

d. Fees apply.
