Quibids Issues

Responded

People are continually asking

whether or not penny market

sites are just cons or when

they are legit. One of many

biggest concerns that

prospective bidders have is

that they may be bidding

against a bot or what we call

shill bidders. It unfortuitously

happens on some websites

and is truly possible. We strive

to act as a watch dog party

over most of the dime auction

sites to give the data to you

you have to quote

confidently.

Is Quibids a fraud? We have been

monitoring the deals on Quibids for

quite a while now. In terms of we could

tell Quibids doesn't use shill customers

or spiders to bid against actual users.

We've already been bidding on items

on Quibids to check a number of our

hypotheses and strategies and could

tell you with 100% confidence that

successful deals is obviously possible

and with the right approach not that

difficult. Previously month or two

we've acquired more than $875 worth

of items paying only $113.22.

What about the Foreign Vacation

Scam? Lately on February 19, 2011

Quibids Featured Auction consisted

on an Australian Vacation for 2

appreciated at $5,999. The auction

ended after more than 27 hours of

bidding at your final auction price of

$218.70. The lucky winner was a user

named IAmThirsty. IAmThirsty used

1,263 genuine offers respected at

$757.80. In addition they used 1,593

voucher offers. OK, to date there does

not be seemingly any kind of scandal

right?

Well, actually in the auction history

element of the auction page, if you

hovered over IAmThirsty's title the

stats bubble could show that

IAmThirsty was a part since December

of 2010 and had never formerly won

any auction. An auction was won by

never? Then how did they acquire

1,593 voucher estimates. The only

path to have voucher bids would be to

get quote package auctions or direct

your pals. It's difficult to think this

individual called more than 65 friends

previously 2 months. So where did all

of these voucher estimates originate

from? Is this a genuine user?

I asked Quibids to research. After

reading many complaints about this

particular market it was evident many

unhappy consumers believed

something bad was going on here. To

access the bottom of it I approached

Quibids and required answers. Here is

the reaction I got: "We have reviewed

this show and bill that they're in fact

the site that was used by a legitimate

user according to the guidelines. The

notification seems to be showing

improperly. I will notify our IT

department of the issue for review."

Since then the bid history segment

has been updated. I assume the

explanation is that a technical

problem in the coding was exhibiting

some wrong information about

numerous consumers. This obviously

has been set.
