20th March 2015 Dear Parents and Carers, Staff leaving It is with sadness that I have to report that three members of staff will be leaving us at the end of this term. Mrs Janet Dique who is moving to another school to pursue a leadership role. Mrs Elisabeth Atkinson who has been a teaching assistant here at Hathaway for 7 years. Mrs Janice Brown who is mov- ing to a school in Reading to become Head of School. The members of staff have worked hard in ensuring that your children develop and learn all the time. On be- half of the staff here we wish them all the best for their future. The Learning Zone In Year 1 we have been learning about how people are rescued and helped by different emergency services. We made class books where we wrote sentences about different rescue scenarios.

Red Nose Day Red Nose Day was a fantastic success; every-one looked really colourful in their red clothes. In the hall, the stalls run and made by each class raised an amazing £450!
