QUESTIONNAIRE RESULTS-5

By Jeenal Parmar

Page 2: Questionnaire Results 5

This question showed me

that Rock music magazines

are still popular with those in

the 21 and under age bracket,

as under 16’s alone

represented 27% of those

questioned. It also appears

that those over 40 were quite

interested in Rock music

magazines too.

It also appears that

despite Rock music being

a male dominated genre,

females dominated the

questionnaire, and so this

shows that LP is a

magazine that more

females would be

attracted to.

This was an open question as I needed

feedback and from this answer, I got a variety

of answers but the main answers consisted of

the colours used, the fonts used and the

content that was offered.

Page 5: Questionnaire Results 5

Another open question, similar to the last, as

I needed feedback. The main answers from this

one were the consistency of the text and fonts,

another one was the content offered again, and

another was the layout of the contents page as

it was similar to other Rock magazines.

Page 6: Questionnaire Results 5

Similar question, but focused on the double

page spread. The answers I got from this were

mainly concerning the picture (the positioning)

and how the main headline text linked to the

magazines logo.

Page 7: Questionnaire Results 5

The features that those questioned looked for

in a magazine consisted of competitions,

information on new artists and famous artists,

as well as interviews with artists. I feel that LP

met all of these features, making it a good

magazine for my target audience.

Page 8: Questionnaire Results 5

The answers I got from this were mainly

positive, saying that the colours worked

together and that they were bright and eye-

catching (as previously mentioned in the third

question) but there were a couple of criticisms,

that the colour scheme was being overused.

Page 9: Questionnaire Results 5

The answers from this

were mostly not, and this

could be because of prices,

lack of interesting

material, or just because

advances in technology

means that they don’t need

to.

Do They Already Buy Music Magazines?

Page 10: Questionnaire Results 5

This was a short answer open

question. The answers were mostly

once a month or twice a month, they

didn’t differ too much. This is good as

LP is meant to be a monthly magazine

and so the target audience would find

this appealing as they’re paying a cheap

price only every month.

Page 11: Questionnaire Results 5

The answers from this

were about equal, but

the difference being one

person saying yes. This

is good as it means that

my magazine would get

bought.

Would They Buy LP?

Page 12: Questionnaire Results 5

The answers from

this were also very

positive yet again, with

recommendations

being done by those

who wouldn’t buy the

magazine, but felt it

was better for

someone else.
