How did you use media technologies in the construction and research,planning and

evaluation stages?

• In the process of making our media product, we had to use many media technologies, for a polished final result.

Planning and research.• Whilst planning and

research, we used Microsoft word to write our questionnaires.

We also used Microsoft Excel to create graphs, bar charts and pie charts to analyse our results.

• We used the blog to upload our research,videos and pictures.

We also learnt how to use Slideshare.net to upload work documents and powerpoint presentations.

• In order to upload videos onto the blog, we had to embed the video from Youtube, then use that code to upload the video onto our blog.

We also used the internet when we researched about different artists and music videos.

• During the process of filming, we learnt how to use the camera, tripods and lights- Lilliput's.

We also made use of the green screen we had in college, so this was something new we’d also learnt.

• I used Facebook (social networking site) to ask for audience feedback as I knew almost all of my target audience owned a facebook account.

• After the actual filming we used effects to do the editing. For most of the simple editing we used Final cut pro. However for the more difficult and complicated bits, we used Sony Vegas. This broadened our knowledge on different types of editing available and the different types of software's we could use to do this.

• For our digipack, we also used Photoshop to edit some pictures of the band and also for the magazine advert we used Photoshop to give it a professional look.

• I used PowerPoint when creating this Evaluation.
