Personification is a figure of speech in which an idea or animal or part of nature is given human attributes. The hope is that the object has the ability to act like humans.
The wind whispered through the long grass. Inside the barrel came a deep moan. Dancing, the clouds moved together then apart.
Write 5 sentences based on the picture using personification
3. To use relative clauses to add detail
Relative clauses are used to add extra detail by describing or modifying a noun: they usually begin with who, which, that (use a comma before who and which but not that). They can appear at the end or the middle of a sentence.
Cunningly, the fox, who always hid from his reflection, retreated behind a tree. Sometimes the girl that had dreamed of returning home thought there was no
one else left.
