A better life lies within your reach… Solution Focused Hypnotherapy uses a combination of psychotherapy and clinical hypnosis to help you make positive changes.

It is based on solution-building rather than problem-solving, and explores your current resources and future hopes rather than present problems or past causes.

Our minds are comprised of two distinct areas often referred to as the Intellectual Brain (your conscious mind) and the Primitive Brain (your subconscious and unconscious minds).

The unconscious mind looks after all of the automatic processes and behaviours, such as your heart beating or your breathing. Our beliefs, habits and behaviours are stored as information within the subconscious mind and it is the source of many of our problems and self-images. It is also a tremendous reservoir of our unrecognised strengths and knowledge.

Hypnosis is a natural and effective technique for accessing the subconscious mind – the key to changing our unwanted habits and behaviours and finding solutions to our problems and concerns. Hypnosis is not something that is ‘done’ to you: contrary to the hypnosis seen as popular entertainment, a hypnotherapist cannot make you do anything you don’t want to do!

We help you develop the skills to manage your own challenges... Talking therapies are highly effective in helping you identify your own inner resources. Hypnotherapy can help you develop the skills you need to manage, cope or make positive changes whatever your issue.

Your one-to-one sessions are tailored specifically for you to help you identify your goal or purpose, and

supports your progress in a gentle and subtle way.

Hypnosis is a natural state that we actually go into several times a day, in order to be able to process events and experiences that are happening around us on every

sensory level.

When we go into trance on the hypnotherapy couch, this replicates part of our sleep pattern called REM, and is very similar to a deep relaxation. You may begin to notice a detachment from your immediate surroundings similar to those moments just before you wake up in the morning, when you are not quite awake but not quite asleep.

This state is hugely beneficial as your brain is at it's optimum resting point, and also at it's optimum productivity, so all suggestions that are positive and solution focused will be taken on board and given an action plan by you, making it highly effective!

Our Hypnotherapy programmes … Hypnobirthing: we have designed a unique course to help couples have the best birth experience. Developed with a midwife with over 20 years experience, our programme includes:

Learn to use your body’s innate resources and learn tools that can give you the best birth experience using relaxation and positive visualisations

Covers practicalities such as: massage, physical support, practical preparation, basic baby care

Weight Management: have you struggled with your weight, done all the diets, exercise regular-ly but still can’t shift the pounds? We have a 6 week weight management programme that might be the answer! Effective help with getting you in the right mind set. This isn’t a diet, it’s a new way of living with long lasting results.

Phobias: Our 4 week programme helps you remove negative templates that may be holding you back, such as fear of flying, dental or needle phobia, etc.

Quit Smoking: 2 sessions can be all it takes… Kick the habit for good!

Our mental health goes hand-in-hand with our physical health: if one is failing, the

other is compromised.
