Queensland Non-State Schools Financial Data Collection 2019 (2018 data) Education (General Provisions) Act 2006 section 370 Background Queensland non-state schools, other than those belonging to a school system, are required to complete this form for the 2018 calendar year and return this form by email to the Office of Non- State Education no later than 30 June 2019. Only schools that have been in operation for the whole of 2018 are required to provide the data. The data to be entered is identical to that provided to the Commonwealth’s Department of Education and Training (CDET), excluding My School data, for the 2018 calendar year. Item codes match the codes used in the Commonwealth’s Financial Questionnaire, e.g. RI.010 is the code for ‘Fees and Charges’. Background

Queensland non-state schools, other than those belonging to a school system, are required to complete this form for the 2018 calendar year and return this form by email to the Office of Non-State Education no later than 30 June 2019.

Section 370(4) of the Education (General Provisions) Act 2006 states the source of the data must be the audited financial statements for the school's governing body for the relevant year.

Offences: Under s.372 of the Education (General Provisions) Act 2006, it is an offence for the governing body of a non-state school to provide to the Queensland Minister for Education information that the governing body knows is false or misleading, or provide a document containing information that the governing body knows is false or misleading. The penalty for either offence may be a fine of up to $2,438. Privacy information: The personal information collected on this form (namely, contact person details) is being collected for the purpose of administering the payment of allowances to non-state schools by the Queensland Minister for Education under Chapter 13, Part 3 of the Education (General Provisions) Act 2006.
