Queensland Fire and Emergency Services
Brisbane, 1 April 2017
At 2.59 pm on 1 April 2017, the Minister for Police, Fire and
Emergency Services and Minister for Corrective Services
approved the declaration of a Disaster Situation for the area
within the Disaster District of Rockhampton bounded by the
Rockhampton Regional and Livingstone Shire Council areas
under Section 64 of the Disaster Management Act 2003 .

Short title1. This notice may be cited as the Objections to Proposed Road
Closure Notice (No 13) 2017.Application for road closure [s.100 of the Act]
2. Applications have been made for the permanent closure of the roads mentioned in the Schedule.Objections
3.(1) An objection (in writing) to a proposed road closure mentioned in the Schedule may be lodged with the Regional Service Director,
the region in which the road is situated.(2) Latest day for lodgement of objections is 18 May 2017.(3) Any objections received may be viewed by other parties
interested in the proposed road closure under the provisions of the Right to Information Act 2009. If you lodge an objection, please include in your objection letter whether you would like to be consulted if this issue becomes the subject of an access request under the Right to Information Act 2009.Plans
4. Inspection of the plans of the proposed road closures may be made at-
Brisbane and Warwick; and
Downs Regional;for a particular plan in that district or that local government area.

Short title
1. This notice may be cited as the Taking of Land Notice (No. 3058) 2017.
Land to be taken [s.15C(5) of the Acquisition of Land Act 1967]
2. Following agreement in writing, the land described in the Schedule is taken for a purpose incidental to the purpose of future transport (rail
transport infrastructure and incidental to rail, namely road) in particular, additional land pursuant to section 13(1) of the Acquisition of Land Act
1967 purposes and vests in the Chief Executive, Department of Transport and Main Roads, as constructing authority for the State of Queensland, for an estate in fee simple.

NOTICE UNDER SECTION 49 OF THE ELECTORAL ACT 1992
Invitation for Comments in response to Public Objections to the Proposed State Electoral Districts
The Queensland Redistribution Commission (the Commission) has made objections to the proposed 93 State electoral districts available for public inspection. Interested persons and bodies are invited to make comment on these objections from Saturday, 8 April 2017 for a period of 10 days.
On Friday, 24 February 2017, a notice was published in the Queensland Government Gazette advising of the release of the Commission’s proposal and inviting objections for 30 days until 5pm Monday, 27 March 2017. Advertisements were also placed in newspapers circulating throughout the State from Saturday, 25 February 2017.
The proposal and the public objections to this report are available to view online, at the Commission’s office, or you may call or email to organise an alternative arrangement.

DEVELOPMENT AREA UNDER SECTION 125 OF THE ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT ACT 2012 (THE ACT)
Under section 125(1) of the Act the MEDQ has the power to vestin MEDQ in fee simple, Unallocated State Land in a PriorityDevelopment Area.
On and from 7 April 2017, the MEDQ vests in MEDQ, in feesimple, Unallocated State Land in Northshore Hamilton PriorityDevelopment Area
The Unallocated State Land is more particularly described asLot 900 on SP264378 as shown on the below plan (the Land).
