ADOPTION OF AMENDMENT NO. 1 TO TEMPORARY LOCAL PLANNING INSTRUMENT 01/2017 (DUAL OCCUPANCY)
Notice is hereby given under the Planning Act 2016 that on17 April 2018, Toowoomba Regional Council adopted AmendmentNo. 1 to Temporary Local Planning Instrument 01/2017 (DualOccupancy) (TLPI 01/2017).
The Amendment No. 1 to TLPI 01/2017 will commence on23 April 2018. This TLPI will cease to have effect on 4 December2018 or when proposed Toowoomba Regional Planning SchemeAmendment No. 16 comes into effect, whichever occurs first.
The purpose of this amendment for TLPI01/2017 is to achievebetter location and design standards for dual occupancydevelopment in all residential areas of the region. By extending theapplication of the TLPI to include land within the Township Zone.
The Amendment No. 1 to the TLPI applies to the whole of theToowoomba Regional Council planning scheme area.

SCHEME POLICY ADMINISTRATIVE AMENDMENTS
Notice is given under section 117 of the Sustainable PlanningAct 2009 that on 27 March 2018, Ipswich City Council resolvedto adopt amendments to the Ipswich Planning Scheme for aLocal Government Infrastructure Plan (LGIP Amendment).
Notice is also given under section 9 of the Planning Act 2016that on 27 March 2018, Ipswich City Council resolved to adoptPlanning Scheme and Planning Scheme Policy AdministrativeAmendments (Administrative Amendments) to the IpswichPlanning Scheme.
The LGIP Amendment and Administrative Amendments will haveeffect on and from 23 April 2018.
The purpose and general effects of the LGIP Amendment arelisted below.
• Integrate infrastructure planning with land use planning asidentified in the Ipswich Planning Scheme 2006.
• Provide transparency regarding Council’s intentions forthe provision of trunk infrastructure.
• Enable Council to estimate the cost of infrastructure provisionto assist its long term financial planning.
• Ensure trunk infrastructure is planned and provided in anefficient and orderly manner.
• Provide a basis for the imposition of conditions aboutinfrastructure on development approvals.
The Administrative Amendments update redundant or outdatedterms, factual matters and cross-references.
Copies of the planning scheme are available for inspection andpurchase at the Planning and Development Counter, IpswichCity Council Administration Building, 45 Roderick Street,Ipswich from 23 April 2018.

Notice is given in accordance with the Sustainable Planning Act2009 that, on 13 April 2018, Quilpie Shire Council adopted anew planning scheme – Quilpie Shire Planning Scheme 2018.
The Quilpie Shire Planning Scheme 2018 applies to the QuilpieShire Council local government area and replaces the QuilpieShire Planning Scheme 2006.
The Quilpie Shire Planning Scheme 2018 will have effect onand from 13 April 2018.
