Board of Director Meetings

Board of Directors meetings are generally held every month and the date, location and times are posted on our website. Meeting agenda is posted on the

business bulletin board on site and on line on the school website. https://www.eduprizeschools.net/board-2/

Orchestra and Band Orchestra – Students are eligible from 4th through 6th grade to sign up. The instruments they can select from are violin, viola, cello, bass, and harp. Band – Students are eligible from 5th and 6th grade to join band. Instrument sections are brass, woodwinds, and percussion.

If your child is interested in participating, contact Mr. Leone at [email protected] no later than 08/11/17. Leave your name, your child’s

name, their homeroom teacher, and pick three instruments they are interested in, in order of preference. Some sections fill up fast, therefore instrument selection is first come, first served.

There is a $15, non-refundable fee to join, which covers the cost of sheet music, instrument

maintenance (like piano tuning), putting on concerts, and the AZMEA dues. This is a one-time charge for the school year. The programs run from August through May, with two concerts

planned for December and May.

More information regarding local instrument vendors will be coming soon.

Solar Eclipse Viewing Party!

On August 21, 2017 a solar eclipse will take place at

approximately 10:33 a.m. This provides a great opportunity for our science-based school to take part in an exciting event. We would like to gather on the

field to view the solar eclipse. In order to do so, specialized glasses will need to be purchased.

The cost for one pair of glasses is $1.

Please send in money by Wednesday, August 9th

so your child can participate in our EDUPRIZE viewing party!

Child Find

EDUPRIZE will ensure that all children with disabilities attending EDUPRIZE, including children with disabilities who are homeless or wards of the State, and children with

disabilities attending private schools or who are home schooled, and who are in need of special education and related services are identified, located and evaluated (§300.111).
