Café Quartz slabs are made of up to 93% quartz,

Scratch Resistance
Top quality surfaces must offer durability and be resistant to daily wear and tear. Café Quartz is scratch resistant and easily retains its cool, smooth, polished finish when used as a kitchen countertop. Watch out for cutting and chopping directly on the surface, as this may blunt your knives.
Low Maintenance
Top-notch surface materials should be beautiful and low maintenance. Unlike natural stone such as granite and marble, Café Quartz doesn’t require any maintenance beyond daily wiping with an everyday, household detergent. For extra shine after cleaning, spray a window cleaner onto the surface and wipe dry with a paper towel. This will also help to reduce the amount of dust that is attracted.
Stain Resistance
The high quality manufacturing process of Café Quartz ensures that each slab is non-porous, so the surfaces naturally resist stains. Natural stones such as granite and marble are all porous and need to be sealed, to prevent them from absorbing any foreign matter, contained in liquids they may come into contact with.
Strength
The natural strength of Café Quartz gives it significantly more flexural strength than granite. It is also less susceptible to chipping and cracking.
