Quartermaster Corps Mission
The Quartermaster Corps executes Supply and Field Services support in order to sustain Soldiers and units enabling the
freedom of action, operational reach, and prolonged endurance of in support of operations.
Supply is the process of providing Class I/II/III(B)/IV/VI/VII/IX necessary to equip, maintain, and operate a military command.
Field Services include aerial delivery, clothing and light-textile repair, food service, shower and laundry, mortuary affairs, and water purification.

The Quartermaster Corps
Assignments
• QM Officers serve in every Brigade Combat Team and separate Brigades in the Army with duties worldwide
• QM Officers lead Soldiers in support of Combined Arms Teams:– Infantry– Armor– Field Artillery– Aviation– Special Operations (SF, CA, PSY OPS, Etc.)– 75th Ranger Regiment/160th Special Operations Aviation

Quartermaster to Multi-functional Logistician
Logistics Commissioned Officers will begin their Careers as a second lieutenants assessed in either the Quartermaster Corps (QM), Ordnance Corps or Transportation Corps.
Quartermaster officers are inducted into the Logistics Corps upon graduation from the Logistics Captain’s Career Course. Subsequently, they are assigned to both multifunctional
logistics assignments and Quartermaster functional assignments. The Area Of Concentration (AOC) 90A becomes their primary AOC with a secondary AOC of 92A (90A92).

Quartermaster Officers are educated professionals, trained to lead Soldiers in all situations. They receive training in Sustainmentspecific areas, general leadership and management with increased
levels of command experience as they advance.
Overview
LOG-BOLC prepares Lieutenants to have a broader perspective of sustainment functions due to their uniquely diverse training.
Graduates will function as platoon leaders capable of performing common Soldier and leader skills in Quartermaster, Ordnance and Transportation units. Quartermaster branch specific portion of the
course includes basic knowledge of unit management, technical Quartermaster functions of field services, supply distribution,
petroleum and water operations, subsistence management, and general materiel management. These graduates will be competent to
serve in all sustainment related positions.
