Figure 1. Tanzanian Project Location Plan. Singida Project: Reverse Circulation (RC) and Diamond drilling (HQ triple tube) commenced at Winston on 18 April. A tracked multi-purpose drill rig had, at the end of June, completed 11 drill holes for a total meterage in excess of 2,000m.

Completion of close spaced ground magnetic surveys confirm 4 new structural targets: Boundary Hill, Wedge, Pauline and east of Winston at the School zone. These areas (apart from Wedge) coincide with gold-in soil geochemical anomalies.

Figure 5. Ground magnetic Analytic Signal data showing the major fold structures west of Winston. The prominent northeast-southwest striking anomalies are Karoo Dolerite dykes.

The ground magnetic survey, shown above in Figure 4 & 5, has covered 1,346 line km at 20m spacing, westwards from the previously reported Winston-Pauline ground magnetic survey. The imagery shows a major east-west trending shear zone, the Wandela-Basotu structure, containing areas of structural disturbance affecting the Banded Iron Formation (BIF) stratigraphy that contain the Winston gold mineralisation (see update to the ASX on 27 June 2016).

Gold anomalies of up to 2,340 ppb occur at the Boundary Hill ground magnetic target, associated with magnetite rich BIF and garnet-amphibole skarn alteration. Rock chip sampling on the western side of the Boundary Hill target, has shown gold values >2g/t Au (see Figure 7).

Recent work at Boundary Hill has consisted of rock chip sampling, geological mapping, and follow-up detailed soil geochemistry on 25m centres.

The magnetic feature “Wedge” appears to be a thrust structure along a major fold limb of the east-west striking Archaean greenstone belt. This target is under deep laterite and black soil cover and will be a focus of up-coming angled Reverse Circulation drilling planned to commence in August. Results of this work will be released as received.

Figure 7. Detailed gold-in soil geochemical sampling with first vertical derivative detailed ground magnetic data at Boundary Hill. The eastern part of this area has been followed up with the recent sampling and results are pending.

Previous wide spaced soil geochemistry (200m line spaced soil sampling) in 2013 discovered scattered gold-in soil anomalies of up to 57ppb in the Boundary Hill area, and up to 2,340ppb (2.3g/t Au) to the west at Babadede. These values are associated with garnet skarn, magnetite BIF and altered felsic porphyry. The soil anomaly is open to the north under black soil cover.

This data is shown above in Figure 7. The underlying magnetic data is previously flown wide spaced aeromagnetics (World Bank/Geological Survey of Tanzania).

This work defined a strong gold-in soil anomaly covering 500m by 400m in area, with anomalous values associated with altered porphyry 1km to the north.

This area has been one of the targets for the recent detailed ground magnetic survey. Data processing, filtering and modelling of the data is currently in progress.

FUTURE WORK Electrical Geophysics: A detailed (50m by 100m) ground electrical geophysical survey consisting of 3D pole-dipole Induced Polarisation (IP) and Resistivity work has commenced at Winston. This program will be carried out by geophysical consultants (Spectral Geophysics) and is expected to take one to two weeks. The IP work will be focussed on the down dip/down plunge and strike extensions of the high grade gold mineralisation at Winston; this gold mineralisation is hosted by conductive (and chargeable) semi-massive sulphides containing abundant pyrrhotite. Results of the ground electrical geophysical results will be made available to the market when the survey is completed and interpreted by the company’s consultants. When completed the geophysical crew will shift to the Wedge and Boundary Hill target areas and conduct several gradient array surveys. As is the case with the extended drill program westwards from Winston, community involvement is crucial to the success of the ground electrical geophysics and this community work is on-going, at local village and district level. Ground Magnetics Due to the success of the detailed ground magnetic surveys at Winston, it is planned to extend the current survey up to 3km east of Winston, to cover gold-in soil anomalies located along the shear structure. A cluster of subdued gold anomalies occurs where young Hanang volcanic rocks overlie the Archaean basement.

Values of between 10 to 21ppb Au extend over an area of 3km by 2km and this will be covered in this survey. The extended ground magnetic survey is planned to commence in mid-July and be completed by early August 2016.

The area of the proposed survey is shown below in Figure 8.

Page 12: Quarterly Report...June 2016 Quarterly Report Page | 10 Figure 7. Detailed gold-in soil geochemical sampling with first vertical derivative detailed ground magnetic data at Boundary

June 2016 Quarterly Report Page | 12

Figure 8. Area east of Winston showing extent of planned ground magnetic survey. Singida Project Tenements: Recent work targeting possible extensions of the Wandela Greenstone Belt has resulted in the Company applying for four new Prospecting Licences west, south and east of the Winston gold discovery: this increased tenement coverage now gives the Company a footprint of over 600km² on under-explored Archaean greenstone-granitoid terrain. Community Services In liaison with the local village committee at Basotu, a vertical water bore was successfully drilled 500m south of Winston (WRC 011 “Jacks Bore”). The hole encountered good water flows at 90m (around 2,000 litres per hour) and was completed at 120m. The water bore was cased off, gravel packed, and pump tested.

The hole was assayed for gold but did not encounter any mineralisation.

Other community work at Winston has included road reconstruction after the heavy wet season, and donations have been made to two of the local primary schools for school desks and this school aid program is continuing in liaison with the local village committees. All of this work has been done in co-operation with the District Commissioner’s Office at Katesh (Hanang District). Corporate

Cash on hand at June 30 2016 was $2.9 million.

Notes 1 The quarterly report provides a basis for informing the market how the entity’s

activities have been financed for the past quarter and the effect on its cash position. An entity wanting to disclose additional information is encouraged to do so, in a note or notes attached to this report.

2 The “Nature of interest” (items 6.1 and 6.2) includes options in respect of

interests in mining tenements and petroleum tenements acquired, exercised or lapsed during the reporting period. If the entity is involved in a joint venture agreement and there are conditions precedent which will change its percentage interest in a mining tenement or petroleum tenement, it should disclose the change of percentage interest and conditions precedent in the list required for items 6.1 and 6.2.

3 Issued and quoted securities The issue price and amount paid up is not

required in items 7.1 and 7.3 for fully paid securities. 4 The definitions in, and provisions of, AASB 6: Exploration for and Evaluation of

Mineral Resources and AASB 107: Statement of Cash Flows apply to this report. 5 Accounting Standards ASX will accept, for example, the use of International

Financial Reporting Standards for foreign entities. If the standards used do not address a topic, the Australian standard on that topic (if any) must be complied with.
