On September 2, 2015, the Career Guidance Cell of the College incollaboration with Energia Well being Pvt. Ltd., organized a career fair for thestudents in the College auditorium, where stalls were set-up and students weretaken in groups of 50 where they got oriented about the various career optionsavailable to them after their Graduation. The institutes which were invitedwere : Aptech – Arena; Akbar Academy of Travel & Tourism; AmityUniversity; Welingkar Institute of Management & Research; Numerio UnoAcademy; Institute of Company Secretaries of India; LTA School of Beauty;BSE Institute, etc. Students benefitted from it immensely.

NSS Seven-day rural residential camp wasorganized by the Cell at the Z. P. School,Dahisar Pada, Saphale (East).
The College NSS Cell in collaboration with the NSS Unit of the Universityof Mumbai and TISS organized a Three Day Seminar on ‘Youth Leadershipand People Skills’. This was held on September 28-30, 2015. A number ofNSS Programme Officers from other colleges participated in the Seminar.The Seminar was proposed to have a chain format, in which the skills learntin it were to be passed on to the students as training sessions conducted intheir respective colleges.
A training program designed by TCS called ‘Campus to Corporate’, wasconducted on campus, spanning from November to end of December. In this75 hour program, three modules, were designed to be covered, whichincluded all the essentials for a student to be recruited into corporate.
CAREER GUIDANCE ACTIVITIES
The Institute of Company Secretaries of India was invited on campus onNovember 26, 27 & 28, 2015, to orient guide students about opting forCompany Secretary as career. A class-wise presentation was done for thestudents of B. Com., BMS & BBI programs.
The Internal Quality Assurance Cell on November 5, 2015, invited Dr. M. R.Kurup to orient the teachers and the non-teaching staff members what would berequired to be prepared for the NAAC visit, in terms of documents as evidenceas well as hospitality and infrastructure improvements. Dr. M. R. Kurup hasbeen a peer team member along with being the Principal at Vaze College.
The Counseling & Guidance Cell of the College organized a Workshop onWork Life Balance and Stress Management for the teachers on September 10,2015. The resource person invited was Shri Uday Acharya, who has foundedan institution which trains corporate executives and leaders on development oftheir spiritual quotient.
The Teachers’ Day celebration was held on September 6, 2015, inwhich were a number of games for teachers’ participation and students’performances.
The LMC (Local Management Committee) meet was organized onOctober 17, 2015, wherein issues related to academic development,NAAC visit preparation and other issues related to development of theinstitution were discussed. The Chairman along with external andinternal committee members was present at the meet.
On November 2, 2015, a Parents – Teachers meet was organized by the PTA for the first year students.
At the College a very novel initiative was undertaken, by subscribing to the lecture series on Leadership through the Video Conferencing mode of ASQ, USA. Dr. Manu Vora, a Senior Faculty, delivers the lectures on the third Wednesday of each month and at the end of the lecture is conducted the question-answer session. Teachers and students attend the same. The following are the areas in which the lectures have been conducted :
