Meet New Board President, Jeri-Lynn Crafton, Crafton Plumbing

1.How long have you operated Crafton Plumbing? We have been in business since 1996. We started with a home office, and then expanded to our current location at 1995 Vandalia in 2007.

2.How long have you been a Collinsville Chamber board member and what value have you experienced as a Board Member? This is my fourth year on the Chamber Board of Directors. I enjoy getting to know the other board members better as we work together. In doing this, we inadvertently help each other grow our businesses. I have also had the opportunity to meet people I would most likely have not met as well as make some lasting friendships. Through my experience on the Board, I have a better understanding how the Chamber continuously works to build relationships in order to benefit members and strengthen our community as a whole.

3.What is your favorite Quote? “You have to show up to go up.” Mary Kay

4. What do you hope to accomplish as President of the Chamber Board of Directors? My top priorities are to provide excep-tional value and grow membership. In doing this, we all benefit and become stronger together!

Meet New Board Member Kai Redmon, Redmon Insurance

I grew up in Collinsville and the community is special to me. I take a lot of pride in being from Collins-ville. I very much enjoy being active in the Chamber and in the community. Anything I can do to positively impact Collinsville and promote the community, and that includes taking an proactive role in the Chamber.

3. What do you hope to accomplish during your time on Chamber Board of Directors? Continue to help facilitate Chamber expan-sion via membership retention and growth; positively/proactively work with/support the Chamber Executive Director and staff, Board of Directors, Executive Board and membership; and provide positive leadership when and where it might be needed and/or is requested. I see a lot of great things going on in and with the Chamber, and I am appreciative to be a part of the Chamber Board of Directors. My sincere hope is that I can add value in the Chamber’s Mission to promote, support and represent Collinsville area business and community interests, and the Chamber’s Goal to make Collins-ville a great place to live and do business. While I have a business in Collinsville, it runs much deeper than that for me. I deeply care about Collinsville. Describe your products or services. What do you think makes your business stand out? As part of our growth and evolving, we now have 2 companies that our family owns. One is Green Home Solutions that does radon mitigation, high efficiency filtrations systems, air cleaners and a few other things associated with indoor air quality. Our newest company is AdvantaClean as it focuses on mold remediation, emergency water recovery, duct cleaning and crawlspace encapsulation. Our 2 companies really compliment each other by focusing on the indoor air quality of your home or business. What sets us apart is our experience and our dedication to excellence. The father and son owners have combined experience and qualifications including an electrician, HVAC contractor and Craftsmen with over 30 years combined experience. We feel that in order to provide a service we must first become experts in that field. So with duct cleaning, mold remediation, radon mitigation, etc, we first got all of the certifications necessary.
