Simle Middle School Art Class Rules

To allow each student in art class an equal opportunity to learn and grow we in the art

department have compiled a list of rules. Please read below with your student. Please fill out the student contract agreement and return this page to art class.

Do not waste materials and supplies

Bring your workbook to class each day

Clean up supplies and materials; Put away in proper areas

Be seated for the bell at the start and end of class; Wait for clean-up bell

Use your time wisely

Work quietly without disrupting others around you (5 inch voice)

If work is not turned in on time student will call home to make a plan

Students missing for other school activities or planned vacations, etc. must talk to the

teacher before the class they will miss to make a plan

Art Department Cell Phone Policy

At teacher’s discretion, cell phones and ear buds will be allowed for listening to music

during classroom worktime. All phones and ear buds must come to class with the student

and be returned to the locker after class. Cell phone usage in class is a privilege and if cell

phones cause a problem this privilege will be revoked.
