Quality Institute 2014 The purpose of the Quality Institute was capacity building, mainly aimed at Higher Education Quality Management staff and practitioners. But, in the philosophical spirit and framework of “quality being everybody’s business”, the invitation was extended to all Higher Education practitioners whose work is impacted or relied upon by quality assurance processes and procedures and who are intrinsically motivated to enhance the quality of their work. The 2014 Quality Institute took the form of two workshops, facilitated by Nicolene Murdoch (SAAIR President and Monash South Africa) and Prof Diane Grayson (Director: Institutional Audits, Council on Higher Education).
