• Currently developing a strawman process for generically developing a performance metric
6
QA Training
• Original pilot held in August last year• Based on that pilot, the training was revised
and scenarios used in the exercise portion of were updated; additional scenarios have been written
• Follow up 3 hour pilot at Forrestal postponed until issuance of DOE O 414.1D

• Provides an access-controlled platform that facilitates interaction among safety software users
• Serves as a centralized source of safety analysis and safety design code usage information
15
Safety Software Quality Assurance
Safety Software Communication Forum (contd.)• Serves as a forum for communicating on specific
codes– Problems and errors encountered– Lessons Learned – Efficient usage and workarounds
• Provides a vehicle to disseminate code information to users
• Provides links to code developer / owner websites• Contact information– Subir Sen (301) 903-6571 or [email protected]
