Our client wanted to launch a new Probiotic drink in the Indian market. The communication positioning was done via research. Focus Group Discussion with Men and Woman segmented by working/ housewives and usage of supplements. Total of 12 groups in Mumbai and Delhi.

Study in 3 steps:- Identify supplement consumption habits, usages of

products and brands, motivations and choice criteria’s- Main reasons to use, benefits realised and identify the

influencers for purchase- Canvassing the various concept ideas to identify the most

resonating idea with reasons thereof

Finally a winning positioning that stuck chord with the consumers and made them want to purchase a drink like this was proposed. The client implemented the same in the market and the product was successfully launched.

Understanding brand equity of key cough management brand and possible line extension.

Our client had a top performing cough management brand, however in the recent past the brand developed addiction as a misuse. This led to damaging of the brand name. Hence the client wanted to understanding the brand equity and further check for line extension with a new formulation which does not cause addiction.

Methodology used- Qualitative IDI’s with users of the brand (consumers)- Extensive quantitative brand management survey with

ENT’s, Paediatricians, GP, CP and chemists

The findings provided a detailed understanding of the addiction issue and key markets for the same.Detailed brand equity was carried out to understand the good will of the brand, which showed high awareness/ usage but poor NPS and ITP which was characteristic of a declining brand.Further line extension into – various formats, formulation and flavour was done. The client re-launched the brand in 6 months and re-established it position.

Development of Claims bank for one of the world’s largest electrolyte formulation

The client a well known consumer healthcare company wanted to create claims for one of the world’s largest electrolyte formulation. Hence validation of these claims was required from qualified HCP’s

Methodology used- Quantitative Face to face interviews with 350 HCPs that

consisted of GPs, Paediatricians and Gynaecologists

A total of 8 claims were tested to get the agreement levels from HCPs. 4 claims were shortlisted and then taken to the Phase 2 –Online In-depth interviews. 4 shortlisted claims were discussed in depth and a single powerful claim for the product was developed from the rich insights provided by 350 HCPs

Further conditions- mild sickness, heat exhaustion, general fever, common cold, flu, Dehydration etc were checked for each claim to propose the most accurate indication for the claim.

Mapping the consumer journey in the dermacare category

The key objective of this study is to precisely understand the whole journey a consumer goes through in various skin and hair related conditions and the impact and role of various influencers on them.

Methodology used- Ethnography research with consumers (sufferers of the

conditions)- In-depth interviews with influencers like chemists,

dermatologists and beauticians

A detailed journey mapping was done through day in life/ethnography research amongst sufferers of conditions like Acne, Pigmentation and Hair problems. Insights around severity of the condition, first point of contact, treatment pathway - home remedies, chemists and doctors were explored in details.The research through light on the need gaps of sufferers at each stage of the condition and the impact of influencers of brand decision making.
