Jie Mu gained a Masters degree of translation and interpreting from the University of Westminster. He has been working as senior translator for nearly eight years for the publishing, advertising and business industries, and is inspired by his young son. This is his first book for Frances Lincoln.

PATRICE AGGS was born in Michigan and moved to London in 1974 to study Fine Art at the City and Guilds Art School. Patrice has illustrated over 20 books, five of them for Frances Lincoln, including Un, Deux, Trois by Opal Dunn and Uno, Dos, Tres by Yanitzia Canetti.

Simple songs and traditional nursery rhymes are an excellent way to familiarise young children with another language. Children are encouraged to repeat the phrases and sing along with the rhymes, while the CD helps with pronunciation.

M.P. ROBERTSON was born in London. He studied Graphic Design at Hounslow Borough College, where he discovered a love for illustrated books.
