OR A system by which an organization aims to reduce and eventually eliminate nonconformance to specifications, standards, and customer expectations in the most cost effective and efficient manner 3. What Purpose Does a Quality Management System Serve? Establishes a vision for the employees. Sets standards for employees. Builds motivation within the company. Sets goals for employees. Helps fight the resistance to change within organizations. Helps direct the corporate culture. 4. Why Is Quality Important? Business success may simply be the extent to which your organization can produce a higher-quality product or service than your competitors are able to do at a competitive price. When quality is the key to a company’s success, quality management systems allow organizations to keep up with and meet current quality levels, meet the consumer’s requirement for quality, retain employees through competitive compensation programs, and keep up with the latest technology.

All who matter for QMS need to be familiar with requirement of QMS & their share ofresponsibility in it. (One needs to spend a little time to go through the DTL QMSdocuments to become familiar on the requirements.)

Systematically implement these in their area of work and monitor constantly

Faithfully bring the departures to the notice of their HODs for corrective and preventiveactions.

Constantly update the knowledge on this to keep the requirements up to date.

For every problem, there a solution and as such one should not hesitate to discusswith the concerned instead of getting worried about it or keeping them within.
