Current Situation
The site is in the western foot of the Banshan Mountain.It's one of the most famous Industrial field in Hangzhou. Hangzhou Iron&Steel Plant reached its peak of prosperity in 2004, and then it gradually declined. In 2015, it stopped production and started to move. What's the future of the abandoned brownfield is the challenge we need to concern. In this project, I want to transform the waste land to a recreational open space which combines education, environmental protection and creation together.
