Leaders
Emperor Shunzhi- Dorgon made important decisions, because Shunzhi was a child at the time.
Emperor Kangxi- started ruling at 15 and had one of the longest dynastic rules in history.
Emperor Yongzheng- Kangxi’s son. Reigned 61 years like his father

The size of land area of the empire was second to only the Yuan Empire because they subdued Tibet and Xinjiang regions, and they were given an inheritance of Mongolia by their foundersPopulation reached over 300 millionWealth was gained by merchants and the court through foreign trade

Contact with other Cultures
The Qing dynasty was in contact was the Manchu, because the people who found the empire had originally come from Manchuria.
The Manchu culture influenced the people in the Qing dynasty, through art, clothing, morals, and government.
