Hi my name is Katie and I am going to do a debate with my friend Alessia. I am f ighting to get winter to stay and spring to go away. On the other hand my friend Alessia wants spring to come and winter to go. I am going to tell you why winter should stay and spring should stay away.

My f irst reason why winter should stay is think how much fun you could have playing out in the snow mountains and tackling each other you could also play tag tag gets you great exercise when you are charging throw the snow after you played outside can go inside and get a nice warm hot chocolate maybe it might even be waiting for you even marshmallows if you wanted.

My second reason why winter should stay is in winter you can , ski, snowboard, snowshoe or even take a great hike if you go high enough you could get a beautiful view. Then you can hike down and ride home and then get in to your warm cozy bed and go to sleep.

My third reason why winter should stay is you can ice skate and practice but I can say myself that I am horrible I need some practice Then you can go home and have a nice dinner and sit by the warm f ire.Now do you want winter to stay I hope you do. Winter is a great season.

Have you ever been to New Hampshire? Well, I have! If you go there, you just might see Mt. Washington! It?s probably one of the largest mountains. If you go to Mt.Washington your f irst stop will be the mini shop. You will be able to stop by there and wait for the tour bus. When you're on the top of Mt.Washington you're above the CLOUDS! The cool thing about being up there is it really feels like it snowing but it?s summer time! Crazy hun? Another cool thing about being above the clouds is that the houses and shops are chained down into the ground because the wind is really strong. If you want to go into one of the shops, you can. When you get inside it does not look big but it?s GIGANTIC in there.

The f irst thing that you will notice is that the windows are blocked by the clouds. You will also see that there is a big gif t shop. I saw something that caught my eye. It was a big big f luffy lamb!!!

When you're done looking around the shop you can just grab a quick drink. Then you head back on the bus and go back the mountain to where you started.

Have you ever went to South Carolina? I have the people that?s in my family went just l ike me our family?s name?s are me, my mom, my dad and three year old sister. The month we went was June 14 where we went was South Carolina. When we got there we went to the water park. we went to the water park to have lot?s of fun. And after we went to myrtle beach. My mom said that I could go all by myself , but I lost my f l ip f lops. Then we went to the Bronx Zoo. At the Bronx Zoo a seal jump up on the side and splash me in the face. Next is my favorite animal. My favorite animal is the seal. Then we went home and we had lunch. What we had for lunch was cheese sandwich. After that we played a game called Beat the Parents. Then our other game was Matching Frozen game. Next we had dinner at 4:00. What we had for dinner was chicken, biscuits, rice and carrots. Next it was time to go to sleep. Goodnight I said.

Hello my name is Holly P. Have you ever been to Bermuda? Well I have and it?s really fun! When you?re on the boat and not in your room the cleaner comes and makes stuffed animals out of towels and puts them on your bed. And there?s stores you can shop in and in the end they set up a big parade for you! So I hope you visit Bermuda.

Have you gone to Florida? I have i went to Disney world.me and my family went to Disney world it was so much fun . My favorite ride was a Buzz ride.I went to Kisseme it was fun.I stay with Aunt,my mom,sister,and my brother. A have a baby cousin and i got to hold me in Florida. I went in October 7th.There was like 60 rides there. Me, sister, and brother went to the arcade it was fun.I went swimming for 1 and a half hours it was fun because i was playing with a boy who spoke spanish.This was my trIp to Florida.

Have you ever gone to Florida? Most people have. My family and I have. It took 3 days to get there! We live in QueensBury N.Y. We got on the road April 10th at 10:00pm. We stayed at two hotels! We celebrated Easter at one hotel! That was my nana?s birthday!Finally. Were there! The f irst thing I wanted to do is to go to SeaWorld! But we were going another day. I was so excited to go to SeaWorld! It was my f irst t ime! Then we went to Medieval Times! Are nights symbol was black and white. We had chicken to eat. Are night was in 2ed place! The blue night won! It was late. When we got back I went to sleep! In the morning we went to Gatorland! There was this one big all igator it was cool! There was this room with litt le birds everywhere Guess what? One bird was on my head! Then we went back to our apartment .The next day we went to SeaWorld! First we went to train the dolphins! It was so fun! Then we watched a orca show! It was cool. Then we went to our house! That was the best week of my life!

I?m going to write about my golden retriever Blaze. He loves to play outside and is the cutest dog in the world in my opinion. he also goes crazy over dog balls and dog treats. If you put your hand near he will l ick it. He will also moo when you cry really loud and when you pretend to moan. My dog is really special and that is why I wrote this article.

ZOOM my dad goes right past me and f l ings snow right in my face. Me and my family are at oak mountain it is so much fun. ?GO RIGHT GO RIGHT?, my papa yells! ?WHAT DID YOU SAY? yell back. l think to my self i will just go left.When i get to the last part of the left chiral I turn to see how close my family is I see them no where!!! I start yelling MOM DAD PAPA WHERE ARE YOUUU! what do I do what do I do I think to myself .I Am go to start hiking up the mountain. After about 10 minutes I think to myself I can't go up the mountain any more.I look one more time to see if anyone is there and then I see a litt le black dot and as it gets closer I can see that it is someone I know it is my PAPA.

Sweet Cayman Island wind blew in my face as I turned the boat left. My family and I were going to Rum Point. The air gentle and warm, the ocean was a clear blue. I was piloting the boat while my family was on the big stretchy net above the water ?Go to the right.? The off icial driver barked. I turned the huge wheel slightly sideways. ? Good job sweetie!? My dad complemented. I had to stand on my tippy-toes to see over the counter of the Catamaran. This was the second time I had captained a boat in the Caymen. My mom snuck up behind me to take a photo, the wind blew hair across my face as I smiled.

Rum Point what was a smudge in the horizon was now very close and I could see the white sand and palm trees very clearly now.

Then, our boat bumped softly on the dock. There was lights because it was beginning to get dark. Already, there was a few brave stars peeking out of the sky. We hopped off the boat and started to walk to our restaurant. I could smell sweet aromas of food coming on the faint breeze.

Mom opened the door and we suddenly were plunged into a world of plates clattering, pots clanging, and visitors talking. A hostess seated us then we ordered right away. Anneke and I had been complaining from hunger and now my stomach was rumbling like crazy! We ate our food slowly. Mom sometimes saying ?Sit up? or ?Stop stabbing your food?. Dads words sliced the silence ?It?s time to board!? We got up and left the check.

On the boat there were so many stars in the sky I headed to the net then fell asleep.

Have you ever been to Main Kennebunkport ? There is many things to do there . One thing is that there are is so many restaurant the food there is amazing . The shops there have a variety of items that have to do with summer . In addition the beach is amazing you can build huge sandcastles because the area of the beach is huge . Also you can ride the waves there really big. Whale watching is another great thing to do there. One reason is you get to go on a long boat ride . Another reason is you can see so many amazing animals . For example when I went on a Whale watch I saw a Humpback Wales And its tale it was amazing . I also saw a very small wale so close to the boat . I thought it was going to jump up on the boat In addition some of the whales were swimming in a circle . Also I saw a bunch of amazing f ish they were huge . They started to jump really high . That is why I think you should go to Kennebunkport Maine.

Scandll!!!Chours papers were on the f loor in the hallway.In the 3rd grade hallway,Chours A was returning from chours while Chours B (I?m in Chours B) was going to chours.At one point,my class got mixed with Mr.DiCaprio?s class.I ran back in line and looked behind me. My classmates were runing back into line too.That?s when I saw three chours papers on the f loor.? I went l ike I was just imagining things but I was wrong. It?s a mystery of how it happened and must be solved.

Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban is a great book.The story is that a prisoner of Azkaban,Sirius Black,broke out and is trying to kil l Harry.My favorite part is the ending,but I won?t spoil it.I reccomend it for people who like fantasy type books,and maybe people who want to challenge themselves.I read it over Christmas break,and I actually stil l read it.The book has tons of adventure and a bit of horror every now and then.In conclusion,I reccomend this book and the entire series.Evalyn P.

Have you ever heard your grandparents are coming over when you come home from school?I have!So this is what happened.I saw there car and screamed!I ran inside and gave them a big hug!My Memere [Grandma] played Battleship and won!She?s only a begginer!I played with my Pepere [Grandpa]too!He helped me play and practice my guitar.I got frustrated but he helped me get through it.Then I woke up in the morning and knew they had to go.I said goodbye and went off to school!

I will write about winning 2nd place in pine wood derby best in show. I was at the mall Saturday February 2015 for this event. All my family and friends voted for me and i crossed my f ingers and listened, BOOM there it was, I came 2nd. I earned my badge and put my car on the track. I raced for the last t ime and came 3rd out of three. But it wasn?t about racing it, it was about the coolest car and mine was called lambo XL which stand s for lamborghini extra large because it was bigger than all the other cars. It was orange and black with a whale tale at the end. That is why I wrote about this.

Have you ever scored a goal? Yes I did one or two times. It is hard to score with like 25 people. I was on blue, green and blue again. Blue is the color most. It is hard to score with people to score goals. There is a dif f ins there is and goaled. That?s why I l ike soccer!!!!!!

It was my f irst basketball game I was excited. Both teams picked four starters. The ref threw the ball up. We were playing in the Queensbury gym. It was late in the game I passed it to my teammate he scored. We won 22 to 16 I was very happy. It was my second game I was facing a hard team. It was late in the game there was 15 seconds left. It was a tie 18 to 18. With 8 seconds left. They made a basket we lost 20 to 18. It was week 3 this week we had a late game. We got the ball f irst. My teammate he ran down the court and scored. It was late in the game we were winning 20 to 8. They scored really quick. Then we scored we won 22 to 10. It was game four we had a hard team. I got 6 points. We were winning 18 to 2. We won 28 to 14. I had a great game. It was game 5 we had the third best team. We were the second best. It was very late in the game. We scored with 10 seconds left we won 18 to 16. I got 6 points. It was game 6. I got 2 points. It was a low scoring game. We won 12 to 8. I also got 6 assist. It was my second last game I got 2 points. I lost 14 to 10. It was my last game. I got 2 points 6 assist and 4 steals. At half t ime we were losing 31 to 24. In the second half they got 5 points we got 18. We won 42 to 36. I had a great season.

Have you ever seen a real robot? I have.My brother Ian was in US robotics championship!It was amazing. His teams robot picked up blocks and put them on metal poles. It was small. there was three people on his team. I drove to saratoga springs at the beginning of Jan.2015. I was there for 2 hr.and he lost he didn?t even make it to the f inals!the Queensbury seniors won he is a Queensbury jr.

I will write about my invention called the Tracker. It will help the world be more safe. Like a tranquilizer, it will shoot into your skin but it?s a tracking device. When bad people try to get away, you take your cell phone out and f ind where their going. This will help cops with the most wanted people of the world. No one else can get the app because you will have to sign in with a cop passcode. Also cop computer workers will be watching where the bad guys are going. With this I can help cops prevent bad guys from committing crimes. That?s why I Wrote this article!!

Have you ever body boarded at Maine? I have and it?s really fun! I went to Old Orchard Beach with my cousin Elizabeth and we bodyboarded. I had lots of wipeouts but I got better and better.Two days later we went back and the tide was in but Elizabeth stil l went out bodyboarding.When the tide got better, I went out. I tried to make it l ike two days ago, but Elizabeth bragged about how big the waves were when she went out when the tide was in. Then I went back out of the water, and I asked my dad if we could go collect seashells. He said yes. So we went out and we found a lot of seashells. Then we went back to our spot. Then Elizabeth went out to get seashells with her mom too. Then I asked my dad again to go out to collect seashells. He said yes again. So we went out and we caught up with Elizabeth and her mom. Elizabeth found a whole sand dollar! I found a piece of seaglass! It was a good day at the beach.
