VIII), reviewed weld map and AFC Drawing, reviewed validation test’s equipment calibration to be used. Witnessed welder qualification test with Client Reps. and recorded. Inspection rolled shell plate with it curvature, Transferred heat/plate number (full traceability method) on material to be used on vessel fabrication. Inspected welding preparation (Type of joint, misalignment) on pressure shell, any vessel attachments (internal or external), determined and monitor welding sequences to minimizes any distortion/buckling/wrapping. Checked of ovality or roundness of pressure shell and head before and after welding/assy. Review RT film for welder qualification test and recorded. Verify joint no, welder no, welding process, and other identification mention in RT film. Review RT film for final acceptance. Issue welding repair if found any defect. Monitor repair action by fabrication, then request for RT once again.
