Q1 Tell me about yourself?

A- Im Delhi-ite born in Bombay and brought up in Delhi. I have a background in

sociology from Venky and schooling from Shri Ram. And I best express myself with

poetry, which I write on my blog rumblings of emotions. Im passionate about danceand reading. I also enjoy travelling and exploring new cultures

Q2 What is you family background?

A- Imfrom a middle class background. My mother is now the principle of The Shri Ram

School Moulsari avenue and my father is retired as a sourcing head from Pantaloons.

Q3 Why are you interested in this position?

A- I have previously only explored the Human Resource aspect of the corporate world

and id now like to try and experience the marketing side of it as Ive been often told idenjoy it and Im pretty cut out for it. Thus it has piqued my curiosity and is kind of a

challenge to me to see my own capabilities.

Q4 What do you know about the company?

A- Groupon is a world-renowned company that started in Chicago and is now present in

78 countries. It was launched in India in January 2011 under the leadership of Ankur

Wariko. Its a company that deals with selling of deals to customers for a price lowerthan that which it is retailed at. It currently has a full price model while contemplating

getting into the coupon form of deals.

Q5 What are your strengths and weaknesses?

A- My strengths are that I complete any project I take doing it to the best of my ability.

Im punctual and meet deadlines.

My weaknesses are that I get hyper and tensed until my work is done.

Q6 Where do you see yourself 5 years from now?

A- I hope 5 years from now im successful and enjoying what im doing, having made a

name for myself as someone who is the best in the job, reliable with exemplary work

ethics and also have enough money to be comfortable and maybe have seen the world a

little more.

Q7 Tell us about your previous internships.

A- Ive worked with TCS and KPMG

-At TCS I was part of the policy framework group where I created a housing

framework which was a an access portal of all housing policies offered by TCS in

all APAC and LATAM countries.-At KPMG I was auditing employee files for various SPOCKS on the basis of which

they would receive and appraisal.

Q8 Of the two where did you like working more and why?

A- of the two I liked working more at KPMG because the employees I was working with

were very warm and supportive. In no time I was part of their group so I felt a strong

sense of belonging. Also their work environment was friendly and relaxed with

appreciation given when it was needed but at the same time quality of work demanded

was very high.

Q9 What will you bring to the company?

A-Im an enthusiastic learner with not much experience, Im a blank slate that you can

mold to your preference in working style, methods etc. I like challenges and have a

strong work ethic. I also believe I think out of the box and could contribute a lot to the

organization. My young age is also a benefit as ill have lesser distractions and be more

focused.

Q10 What questions do you have for Us?

A-

Id like to ask why Groupon doesnt have any review pages of its customers forits various deals that they offer, where customers talk about their experiences?B- Also why doesnt groupon advertise like snap deal to gain moreclientele?C- Is groupon planning to shift to a groupon model or is it going to stick with its full

price model?
