2016Q1
The Columbus Chamber boasted a record number of registrants for the 2016 Annual Meeting held on Thursday, February 11, 2016 in the Batelle Grand Ballroom at the Columbus Convention Center. More than 1,700 of Columbus’ biggest and brightest names in Central Ohio Business registered for PIVOT 2016.
Keynote speaker Mark Kvamme invigorated the audience with his powerful speech about risk and reward. The Columbus Award was bestowed upon David Blom, CEO of Ohio Health, and the 2016 Small Business Leader Award was also presented to Leo Ruberto of Feazel. Excitement was added to the event with the first introduction of our new CEO and President, Don DePerro.
We launched The Art of Business at our 2016 Annual Meeting— an exhibition merging art and business that features work by local Columbus artists. Each piece includes words of wisdom from local business leaders that helped them as they navigated the ever-changing business landscape. You can check out the artwork by visiting columbus.org/artofbusiness.
