How does PxS100 provide a solution?

Sewerage water is often viscous or containing suspended objects / particles.

PxS100 with front bonded diaphragm is designed not to be blocked or clogged as it might happen with a typical NPT connection.

Pumping stations

At different stages at a water and wastewater treatment plant the water itself needs to be pumped from one place to another which is done by big pumps creating enough pressure to transfer the water further on in the pipe system to the different process stations, e.g. raw water inlet pumping station.

In pumping stations in fact, beside ensuring correct pressure levels are maintained to prevent bursting, presence of gauge transmitters allows monitoring for leakages.

Pressure Reducing Valves (PRV)

Pressure Reducing Valves (PRV) – a gauge pressure transmitter on each side of the PRV so you can see up and down stream pressures and calculate what the pressure drop is across the valve.


PGS100 gauge model is available with standard process connection to fit such simple installation.

Since sometimes PRVs are installed below ground level, PGS100 delivers IP67 and IP68 to ensure

To clean potentially contaminated water for drinking purposes or purify wastewater filtration processes based on different technologies are being used, e.g. sand, active carbon or biological filtration.

In its broadest sense aeration is the process by which the area of contact between water and air is increased, either by natural methods or by mechanical devices. The basic purpose of aeration is the improvement of the physical and chemical characteristics of waters for public supply.

Primarily this improvement involves the reduction of unwanted tastes and odors. Aeration is one of the preliminary steps to other purification processes in the water treatment.
