The FPGA and memory architecture was designed specifically for high-throughput ultrasound applications, offering sustained bandwidths up to 90 MB/sec and PRFs in excess of 30kHz.

The board’s analog front-end is suited for ultrasound applications: gain, TCG, AC/DC coupling, fast gate detection, etc. The firmware and software are field-upgradeable.
