All teachers with Professional licensure shouldreceive four observations and post conferences thisschool year.
All teachers with Apprentice licensure shouldreceive six observations and post conferences this
school year.
All teachers should also have a Self-Assessmentand Professional Growth and Support Plan (PGSP).

How Does the TEM SummativeProcess Compare to Previous Years?
As with previous years, any teacher may berecommended for non-reelection for the followingreasons:
1. Incompetence2. Inefficiency3. Neglect of Duty4. Unprofessional or Improper Conduct5. Insubordination
Regardless of a teachers TEM score, he or she canbe non-reelected for any of the above reasons.

How Does the TEM SummativeProcess Compare to Previous Years?
New for this year, the definition of Inefficiencynow includes scoring a 1 or 2 on ones TEM
. Inefficiency
However, this does NOT mean that a district mustdismiss all teachers scoring a TEM 1 or 2. Asschool leaders, principals will make reelection
recommendations for these teachers on anindividual basis that will then be reviewed by thedistrict.
