To the customer, the relevance of their broker is beginning to wane and the importance of their relationship with their lender is growing. This communication is designed to position Aussie front of mind once again. We remind the customer to contact you if they have questions that could result in a variation or refinance, and we remind them of the benefits of keeping in touch. We also offer the customer a small competition incentive to correct or complete their details – with a view to reducing returned mail rates and enabling future email contact.

Fixed Term Expiry (mailed by Aussie)A letter is mailed and followed-up with a phone call approximately one month before a customer’s fixed rate expires. This is currently for Aussie Home Loan customers only but we are exploring options to extend this to panel lender customers in FY09/10.

Home Loan Health Check mailing (mailed and telephoned by Aussie)Every lender has a unique average tenure - it’s a time frame in which customers of these lenders are likely to be exploring refinancing. Around six months prior to their average tenure, your customer will receive a mailing suggesting you are their first port of call should they wish to carry out a home loan health check. This mailing puts you top of mind at this critical time. Aussie also supports this mailing with outbound telemarketing, generating Home Loan Health Check leads.

Anniversary Customer Satisfaction Survey (mailed and email by Aussie)A random selection of 1 in 3 customers are contacted on their settlement anniversary and asked to rate their ongoing satisfaction with their current lender. We’ll also ask them how they feel about the level of contact they’ve had from you and from Aussie. Results are shared with you via your Regional Sales Manager or Franchise Business Manager every two months.
