In Him also we have obtained an inheritance, being
predestined according to the purpose of Him who works all
things according to the counsel of His will, Ephesians 1:11

• Purpose in the Hebrew means:
• Original intent
• The original reason why something is created
• Why something exist is called it’s purpose
• Prov. 19:21-There are many plans in a man’s heart, Nevertheless the Lord’s
counsel/purpose –that will stand.
God is more interested in His purpose than He is in our plans.

• Destiny — something to do in this life, something only you can do.
• Before you were born, God wired you with certain ambitions, desires, and drives to play a particular role in history — one that only you can play. Your life isn't an accident. You have a destiny, one that only you can complete
• Ephesians 2:10, “For we are God’s masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things he planned for us long ago” (NLT).

• Before you were born, God gave you a unique mixture of spiritual gifts, passions, abilities, personality, and experiences. There’s no one like you in the entire universe because, in part, there’s no one with your unique mix of talents. It’s why your destiny is so unique. It’s your destiny. Not your mother’s, not your father’s, not your pastor’s. It’s your destiny.
• All the days planned for me were written in your book before I was one day old” (Psalm 139:16 NCV).

• Is it Possible for one to know what their purpose in life is? Absolutely! The following lessons will spell it out very clearly for you.
• Learn to detect the defining moments of your life that will be like signposts to the destiny God has outlined for you.

• Allow God to get you in line with His purpose. He wants you to fulfill your destiny more than you do!
• It’s why Jesus taught us to pray, “Thy will be done on Earth as it is in Heaven.” God’s will is done perfectly in Heaven. He wants it done perfectly in your life, too.
• But your destiny is your choice. God has a destiny for your life, but he won’t force it on you.

• 2 Timothy 1:9 who has saved us and called us with a holy calling, not according to our works, but according to His own purpose and grace which was given to us in Christ Jesus before time began,
