Our purpose is to become a global company with powerful scientific infrastructure in the international market and produce efficient and quality essential oils and sell the same in the world markets by developing the latest R&D activities and production technologies realized in the field of medical plants supporting the rural development in villages while growing medical and aromatic plants in pharmacopoeia standards with a sustainable agriculture principle in Turkey starting from the philosophy of investment into people and earth.

MISSION

Our founder, chemist Funda Ateş is a graduate from Bachelor’s Program of Chemistry, Faculty of Science and Literature of Yıldız Technical University, one of the best technical universities of Turkey.

She worked in R&D and production areas in the field of cosmetics for approximately 16 years and currently she works as the Responsible Person of the significant cosmetics companies at the Ministry of Health of Republic of Turkey.

She has realized various R&D and production activities in the field of volatile oils and medical plants as she has been working in cosmetics, essence and odour industry for long years.

Botanic Properties: Rosa Damascena rose is a rose species that is perennial, pink colored, half multifoil, thorny and inbush form and have strong smelling flowers. There are leaves, each one forms of 3-7 leaflets, waxy surface, slippery, bottle green in its pedicles’ knuckles.Flowers located at the branches (only one in one branch), and they are pink, multifoil and strong smelling. An oil rose flower, freshly, approximately in 7.5 cm diametersand approximately 2.5 g weight.

Distribution in Turkey: It grows in Turkey’s Taurus region, especially in Isparta, Antalya, Burdur, Denizli regions.

Time to Harvest: Roses’ main harvest time is pretty short; It contains a 30-40 days period in May and June. Harvested roses are quickly taken to distillation.

Field of Usage: Rose oil is commonly used in cosmetics, perfumery, aromatherapy, food and pharmaceutical industry.

Botanic Properties: It is anannual herbaceous plant collected as yellow small tube-like heads on the inside and hairless white flowers on the outside with fragmental leaves and multiple branches growing up to 25-50 cm with hairy leaves of 2-3 layers from a short root. It likes clayey, slight moisty and hot places.

Distribution in Turkey: It grows on many locations in our country excluding Eastern Anatolia and South-eastern Anatolia. It grows widespread in Trace, Istanbul, Marmara and Southwestern Anatolian regions.

Time to Harvest: It starts to flower in spring and stays with flowered during the summer. It is harvested 4-5 days after the flowers bloom completely. The flowers must be collected from May to September without stalks under the sun during noon.

Fields of Usage: The German Camomile’s essential oil is used widespread in cosmetics, perfumery, aromatherapy, food and medicine industries.

Botanic Properties: Distribution in Turkey:Lavender is a perennial, half bush looking Mediterranean plant. It has half bush looking, growing in tufts, approximately up to 60 cm. and does not drop leaves in the winter. Thin, four cornered, long pedicles’ ends 6-10 flower placed and these flowers are small, sweet-smelling, generally lilac or purple-blue colored. The volatile oil that gives smelling to plant; located in flower, leaf and star-looking hairs that covers the body. The result of distillation of flowers, volatile oil is obtained and it is a pale-yellow colored liquid.

Time to Harvest: Lavender’s flowering time is from July to August and it is harvested this period.

Fields of Usage: Lavender volatile oil is commonly used in cosmetics, perfumery, aromatherapy, food and pharmaceutical industry.

Botanic Properties: Salvia Officinalis, a medical sage, is a genus of evergreen, formed by herbaceous and bush plants. It is a perennial plant. Its height is approximately 50-60 cm, its body, as a family property, four cornered, thin, close hairy and green colored, its flowers are purple and blue.

Distribution in Turkey: It is special to Mediterranean Basin, and it grows up Aegean and Mediterranean coasts in Turkey.

Time to Harvest: It is harvestedMay and September which are also the plant’s flowering time. It is obtained 1 kg volatile oil from 50 kg plant with water vapor distillation.

Botanic Properties: It is a perennial species that can grow up to 20-80 cm. Its body is four cornered, woody and covered with 1-4 cm. long hairy leaves that generally located oppositely. It has reddish-brownish flattened-soft leaves. It has flowers that can flower white or pink. It is a sweet-smelling plant that can be seen in rocky and arid grounds.

Distribution in Turkey: It is a Mediterranean Basin plant. Various species of this plant grows as wild in our country’s Thrace, Marmara, Aegean and Mediterranean regions.

Time to Harvest: All of the plant is harvested in April. It is cut 3-5 cm. high from the ground, branches are separated, it is processed with plucking the leaves and branches.

Botanic Properties: It is an evergreen tree, which do not defoliate, growing up to 10 meters. While the lower parts of its body are grey, the upper parts are green. While the length of its leaves is between 6 and 12 cm and width of the same is between 2 and 4 cm. The upper parts of the fragrant leaves are dark green while lower part of the same are leathery and shiny. The leaves, which are leathery and shiny, dissipate a strong, special and aromatic fragrance when massaged with hands. Its flowers are bright yellow and 5-6 of them are collected together on leaves.

Distribution in Turkey: It grows on Mediterranean, Aegean, Marmara and Black Sea shores and internal sections of these shores. The laurel is a tree, which is a symbol of vegetation cover of Mediterranean.

Time to Harvest: Even though it is possible to harvest the Laurel Leaf, it is suggested to harvest in October and May.

Fields of Usage: Laurel Leaf Oil is commonly used in cosmetics, perfumery, aromatherapy, food and pharmaceutical industry.

Botanic Properties: It is a perennial plant that does not drop its leaves in the winter. It shows propagation until 1500 mt. altitude. Rosemary generally grows up to 50-100 cm. and has an bush look. Its body is, as a family property, four cornered and evolves woody structure in second year. It has 2-3,5 cm. long, 2-4 mm. wide, thin, lineal leaves. Leaves’ surface is shiny bottle green, underside is gray. Its flowers changes from pale-blue to lilac and in some types it is close to white. It flowers during all summer time. Hard and sharp volatile oil is obtained from its branches with leaves and flowers.

Distribution in Turkey: It grows in Aegean, Mediterranean, and South Anatolian Region, from Mersin Çiftlikköy to Tarsus-Adana, Iskenderun.

Time to Harvest: Because the germination time is long and it wants a warm environment, instead of seed, it is grown with scion or dipping. It can be harvest anytime.

Field of Usage: Rosemary Oil is commonly used in cosmetics, perfumery, aromatherapy, food and pharmaceutical industry.

One flower carries 4 green coloured calicles.Dispersion in Turkey: It grows naturally in water meadows and sides of streams in many regions of Anatolia. It is mostly seen in Mediterranean Region. The mint is not selective regarding climate requirements and has high tolerance against climate. It is fond of warm and moist climates. It has the ability to resist against low temperatures. The mint grows well in semi-shadowy and cool regions. It is not fond of severe light. The ideal soil type for mint production is sandy-clayey and loamy soils.Harvest Time: The first harvest of the mint is realized when the plant is of a certain height with leaves at the beginning of blooming or flower sprouting. This situation occurs in the middle of July in general.
