Czech Republic offers unique stunning locations, highly experienced film professionals, and top service standards. Producers keep returning because Prague and Czech countryside bring high production value compared to location and studio shoots elsewhere in the European Union.Punk Film continues 100-year tradition of  the  Czech film industry and provides full production services to foreign crews when shooting in the Czech Republic – from finding locations according to scripts to the  post-production stages. No matter if film, advertising or TV projects, we perform nothing but the best. The international crew may consist of director, DOP or art director only; rest of the crew may be hired locally.Czech Republic has the most studio facilities in the Continental Europe. Many leading rental equipment houses operate in the country. Panalux, Arri, Panavision, Vantage and other top providers, they all have offices in Prague.Prague is home to five-star hotels such as Four Seasons, Andel´s, Mandarin Oriental, Kempinski, Intercontinental, Marriot, Hilton and others as well as many independent familiar hotels. All of this, we provide quickly, at reasonable price and top quality - that’s punk attitude right there.

Prague’s period architecture has been one of the main attractions for international filmmakers since the 1980s. Prague has one of the best preserved historical city centres in Europe and has doubled as Berlin, Paris, London as well as other European cities because of the variety of architectural styles. This diversity and the easy accessibility of locations are two reasons why filmmakers keep returning to the Czech Republic. When many people imagine Prague landmarks, the Prague Castle and Charles Bridge first come to mind. However, the city has a wide range of styles covering many periods as well as  exceptional 20th century architecture. This unique mix makes Prague a very attractive filming location. Much of the location shooting done in the Czech Republic is done in Prague and its vicinity because of these outstanding architectural gems.Everything that Czech Republic offers is within easy reach from Prague thanks to the country size and well-developed infrastructure. The Czech countryside offers a tableau of  beautiful lakes, rolling hills, deep forests and  snow-capped mountains. It has more than 2,000 preserved historic period castles and chateaux, the highest density in the world.

Punk Film will obtain all the necessary permits for you.

The Czech Republic has four distinct seasons. The country is landlocked by a ring of mountains and there is less precipitation than in the  neighbouring states. Summer averages fluctuate in the 20s Celsius, with occasional hot spells. Winter temperatures often fall below freezing. Prague temperatures are generally higher than elsewhere in the country.Winter season brings snow to  the mountains offering charming winter scenery.
