Wedding Packages

My name is Phill Doyle and welcome to my creative home. I believe the only way to shoot a wedding is to become emotionally invested in it. I love what I do and I pour as much into the day as if it was my own sisters wedding. This enables me to see and to make genuine connections. It relaxes guests so they think 'cousin Phill' is just taking a few snaps. I capture moments as they unfold as naturally as they happen.

My style has been described as 'cinematic' due to my play with light and dark. While a lot of photographers are shooting light and airy weddings these days, unfortunately it's just not how I see the world, the real world. I see the winks, the kisses, the smiles and often the tears.

I first became interested in Photography while studying Art & Design back in 2000. The next year I began to study Photography full time. I have been shooting weddings since 2009 after shooting a friends wedding as a guest. The bride convinced me to shoot her friends wedding a few months later and that was it... I was hooked. Being able to create something that people have an emotional connection with is the most amazing reward for me. I love doing what I do and would love to do it for you.

Party CoverageA lot of Photographers will stay later than

your dinner for an additional (usually hourly) fee. My personal mission on your Wedding Day is to capture your wedding day story

which for me includes your party. This is why I include evening coverage in most of my packages as standard. Most of my Brides

and Grooms love these images the most as it really captures the fun that people had on

their magic day!

I have seen brides do handstands, grooms rip their pants and dance offs to beat all

dance offs. It is really like having a mobile Photobooth, except one with a personality.

This is also a good opportunity to get all those pictures that you don't want slowing down your day before your reception. The

pictures with your friends, aunts, neighbours. Not to mention all the pictures you Mother is

going to ‘need’!

Photographic StyleMy style is very much reportage. I am hired to take beautiful images that tell a story. I do this

by observing what is going on as snapping away without people noticing. This gives the

overall set of images a story feel. It is a photographic essay. This approach tends to suit people who don't like hours of posing being puled from here to there or don't like their picture being taken. I will be there to

ensure you stay relaxed and have as much fun as possible.

That said, we will still capture beautiful images of the two of you together away from

the madness. I have often advised my couples to take this time as an opportunity to take a timeout from the madness. To enjoy

one another, to kiss without a million eyes on you, to tell each other how beautiful you look

and to just slow the day down.
