Estimated Time: 15-30 Minutes

Procedure:Note: This is designed to be a "fast" game for the students. The students will be competing as teams to match the correct number with the set of pumpkins you place on the board, so plan for a lot of noise and excitement during this lesson.

• Split the class into two teams and have them line up on opposite sides of the room.

• Have two desks place equally distant from each other (near each team) and from the white board

• Spread out one set of numbers on each desk• Instruct the students that you will place a certain number of pumpkins on the

board . One student from each team will come forward will have to count the pumpkins and choose the right number from those available on the desk. The first student that puts the correct number on the board wins a point for their team

• Start the game and enjoy!
