The ChallengeDuring pressure pulsing the potential existed for condensate to build up and kill the well.

Tendeka SolutionTendeka minimised the pulse size to 0.4bar at surface to minimise transient production effects. No surface acquisition equipment or data relay system was required as the existing wellhead pressure sensor was used to read the signal.

Project ResultsThe gauge transmitted data for 177 days until the batteries depleted.

When this gas field was originally developed it was not envisaged that any further wells would be drilled and no permanent downhole gauges where installed. Nearly twenty years later, in the drive to improve recovery from the field the operator requires downhole data to evaluate the potential value of an in-fill drilling program.
