Timelines
Part 1: Let’s discuss
1 Read the text and answer the questions.
Timelines are a useful tool for showing a series of events in order. You can use
a timeline to talk about a famous person’s biography or even your family and
friends’ lives! In fact, any series of events can be easily visualized using a
timeline. As well as being very creative, timelines drawn on the web are a
fantastic way to share your information with others.

Part 3: Let’s do it!
Step 1 Go online and search for a timeline creator.
Step 2 Think of a person or subject to create your timeline about. Here are some
ideas:
• a biography of a famous person.
• a list of the important events that have happened in your life.
• a list of events during your last holiday.
Step 3 Think of a title for your project. Organize your topic on the Task Sheet.
Step 4 Put your information into your timeline. Use pictures to make it more
interesting.
Step 5 Share the link to your timeline with your teacher and classmates.
