4. A bridle is interlocked onto the teeth of the MED Racks. These MED Racks are then pulled via hydraulic cylinders.

5. The buried vehicle is removed

1. Vehicle that is attempting to retrieve the buried piece of equipment with the use of a tow rope or sling

Eliminate Unsafe ExtractionsUse fit-for-purpose equipment during extractions Mining equipment is designed, engineered and built to extract ore, not to extract mining equipment. Eliminate damage to productive assets with the MED range.

The range of MED products was specifically designed to extract buried or bogged mining equipment.

2. Uncontrolled movement of the vehicle can cause damage to roof supports and road.

Page 5: Pulling Power MORE POWER THAN EVER

4. The slewing of wheeled mining equipment requires a number of spotters to supervise its unpredictable movement. Operation of the MED requires minimal human interaction.

3. The uncontrolled, jerking motion of an attempted retrieval by wheeled mining equipment may cause damage to the road. Remediation of the damaged road adds additional cost and may further delay the recommencement of production following a retrieval.

MED and Alternative Extraction Methods Using feedback gathered by customers who have successfully used the MED, detailed below are two scenarios that are typical of the decision-making process that is follows the burial of a mining asset.

TYPICAL EXTRACTION PROCESSDAY 2.

Unsuccessful attempts are made to retrieve buried Mining Asset with an Loader/Bogger. The uncontrolled jerking motion caused by attaching an Loader/Bogger to the Mining Asset has resulted in damage to the mining asset and the Loader/Bogger. The slewing motion also results in damage to the roadway and mining supports.

DAY 6. Repairs to Mining Asset & Loader/Bogger continues Repairs to roadways and mine support structure continues

DAY 10. Repairs to Mining Asset & Loader/Bogger continue

DAY 1. A portion of loose spoil is removed from buried Mining Asset

DAY 5. All three mining assets involved in the extraction have been damaged during the extraction process and are moved offsite for repairs. Repairs to roadways and mine support structure commences

DAY 9. Repairs to Mining Asset & Loader/Bogger continue

DAY 4. A second Loader/Bogger is used to assist in the extraction and with the additional pulling power, the buried Mining Asset is extracted. The roadway is subject to even more damage

DAY 8. Repairs to Mining Asset & Loader/Bogger continue

DAY 3. To improve the likelihood of success, additional loose spoil is removed from the buried Mining Asset. Further unsuccessful attempts are made to retrieve buried equipment with an Loader/Bogger resulting in additional damage to the Mining Asset and the Loader/Bogger, roadway and mining supports.

DAY 7. Production recommences Repairs to Mining Asset & Loader/Bogger continues

DAY 11Onwards Repairs to Mining Asset & Loader/Bogger continue

All three (3) assets are offsite and unproductive for

up to sixty (60) days.

Production is interrupted for 7 days as remediation to the mine and critical path is required.

It is likely that production would have been impacted by the works required to remidiate damage to the road and mine supports caused by the uncoltrolled

movements of the tow vehicle(s).

DAY 2. An MED is used to successfully retrieve the buried Mining Asset. This occurs without additonal damage to the Mining Asset and the Loader/Bogger, roadway and mining supports.

DAY 1. A portion of loose spoil is removed from buried Mining Asset

DAY 3. The previously buried Mining Asset resumes production
