From Marama23 Sleeps Until Christmas! Its the 1st of December already,

where has the year gone?Well, we had a wonderful day at the Papanui Junction SchoolAthletics on Monday. The weather was beautiful, (maybe a bittoo beautiful, I burnt my feet ah so itchy) and theorganisation ran like clockwork. The kids all participated in arange of events, a first for a few of the little ones. It was verycute watching Isabel wait for her mates to catch up to her inthe running races, and Ashley carefully climbing up the matand over the high jump bar. I must say that I am pleased

Jonny got to win a few running races since the disappointmentof Hunterville being cancelled, watch out TAS I think you havea middle distance champ on the way.

The best part of the whole day

w a s t h a t e v e r y o n epart ic ipated and had a wonderful time, though I amwondering about the need forthree parent races? I thoughtI might actually get out of itthis year, but they just keptcoming! Thank goodness

    Jenny, Jock, and Maryanne

took up the slack, and that the part which I had to run had aslight down hill slope. We are lookingforward to next year Papanui :-)
