1. INTRODUCTION

A new version of the Department of Statistics Malaysia Official Portal (DOSM)

www.statistics.gov.my was launched on 1 April 2015.

Best viewed Official Portal DOSM are using Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox and Internet

Explorer 9.0+ with resolution of 1366 x 768 or higher.

2. HOW TO REGISTER?

No. Instruction

1. Click ‘Registration’ in the upper right corner

2. Choose User Type: Public (public users)

3. Enter the User ID

4. Enter your Name

5. Enter your Email Address

6. Enter the security code

7. Click on the ‘Register’ button

8. Registration successfull notification will be displayed. User ID and

Password will be sent to your registered e-mail.

1. Click ‘Login’ in the upper right corner

2. Enter the User ID

3. Enter the Password

4. HOW TO MANAGE SSO ? (E-SERVICES)

No. Instruction

1. Click ‘Manage SSO’ in the upper right corner

2. Click on the ‘Add New’ button

3. Application * : Select e-Services

4. User ID * : Enter the e-Services User ID

5. Password * : Enter the e-Services Password

6. Click on the ‘Save’ button

7. Notification application successfully added is displayed

8. If you do not have an e-Services account, please register here.

5. HOW TO SEARCH E-SERVICES ?

There are three (3) method to access e-Services in the Portal.

Method 1:

Click e-Services in the upper right corner

Method 2:

Go to homepage (Web Theme 1) and click e-Services under Online Services.

Go to homepage (Web Theme 2) and click e-Services under Online Services.

5. HOW TO SEARCH E-SERVICES ?

After click the e-Services, you will be connect to e-Services page.

If the following notification is displayed, please off or allow your popup

blocker setting.

6. HOW TO RESET PASSWORD?

No. Instruction

1. Click ‘Login’ in the upper right corner

2. Click on the ‘Forgot Password?’ button

3. Enter the Email Address you use to register in DOSM Portal

4. Click on the ‘Reset Password’ button

5. Notification successful reset password is displayed. A new password will

be sent thru your e-mail

7. HOW TO CHANGE PASSWORD?

No. Instruction

1. Click ‘Welcome, (user_id)’ in the upper right corner

2. Password: Enter the new Password

3. Click on the ‘Update’ button

4. Successful password update notification will be displayed
