• Good Example:* It was a very good place to work and I had

great colleague and a very good boss. Actually, I am proud to have that work experience on my resume. But at this point I felt like I needed something where I could better use my experience and strengths, and where I think I can make a very positive impact. It was definitely not an easy decision to leave, but it was for the best.

• Poor Example: * I felt like I was very good there, and I did a lot for them, but my boss was not a good guy to work for, and I had to get out of that environment. Most of the people I worked with were underachievers and they were bringing me down. The pay was ok, but the hours weren’t fair, and like I said, I couldn’t work for that guy anymore.

• What if you were fired?• The manager chose to go in a different direction

with some things, so they were unable to retain me.

- OR – * I think it’s fair to say that we were not a mutually

good match for each other. They are a good company, and I see myself as a good employee, but it just wasn’t the right situation for either of us at the time.
